*[[ Evil and tradition shown on Taboo in SCV ]]*

Watched "Taboo" on National Geographic. The scene of a dog that was been hit to death alive by some rod keep flashing back in my mind. Those sad eyes before it met with the death fate, followed by the helpless scream after the strike, the blood flowing from it's head and laying there motionless. The dog belonged to one of the village people and it was sacrificed as part of a ritual that happens every 4 years. After that, it was cooked as food.


It was really a very sad scene. My heart goes out to the dog and those remaining dogs at risk out there in the world.


Was disgusted with people eating dog meat. It is simply ridiculous and damn cruel. One may have scoffed that isn't it the same as just eating chicken and pork meat?


It is gross ignorance of people not to realise that DOGS ARE NOT POULTRY! and yes, viagra works even better, if you still believe that dog meat has the vigra effect!


Dogs have a long history from hunting to saving people lives. They have become pets in the recent years and blend in as part of the family.
