*[[I brought the ASUS USB bluetooth dongle instead after giving up on the infra connection. Unfortuately it doesn't work as well. The PC and the nokia phone can connect with each other but the Nokia connection manager just does not detect the Nokia 6600.

Tried uninstalling, reinstalling the infra, bluetooth and even upgrade the PC Suite software from nokia.com but the error still occurs.
Does anyone know the solution to this?

My next bet will be to upgrade the firmware of the phone. Just did a *#0000# (thanks to Reymund) and found out that the firmware of my phone is only V3.42.1. Got to go to Nokia centre to upgrade the software to version 5.
