*[[ SCWTA function ]]*

Got a splitting headache for sleeping too much. Sent Pepper and Silver to Redhill while I caught a nap after lunch. I think sleeping too much in the afternoon will causes me a headache everytime.

Went home to get prepared for the SCWTA function. Sounds funny without Pepper's high pitch bark greeting whenever we reach home.

Started to prepare after 5.30 pm. Had a bath and a quick spa then put on my makeup.

We were caught up with a jam at Orchard. Dropped our two lucky draw coupons and quickly went to our table. Luckily the function had yet to start.

Lim Swee Say (Minister, Prime Minister's Office, & Second Minister for National Development) was the Guest of Honour and he gave a speech on the stage. After a few more other speeches from others including the president of SCWTA, the dinner started.

As I was having a headache, I felt like vomitting. Darn it, not the right time to feel nausea. Imagine how embarrassing it will be if I really vomit in the function. Thus I kept on drinking lots of coke and hot tea. The coke contains caffeine which is good for the headache and the hot tea will helps to digest better.

Alfred's wife came in later. This is the first time that I have met her. She holds a very high position in the Navy. Despite in such a rigid and a men environment, she is still able to outshine the men at her workplace.

Alfred was happily showing us his exclusive watch. He was wearing a Patek Phillip watch which costs 100k! His wife was wearing an expensive Rolex ladies that costs around 20k.

The presenter was very very entertaining. I was nearly laughing throughout the whole function. He was really funny although some of the jokes were pretty R.A. There were games and he got some of the audience to perform cultural dance as there were expatriates around on the night. The Hindu dance was the most hilarious and the best of all.

One of the funny thing that he said to a table of girls who were being spontaneous.

Presenter: I like you girls! You are great and I am going to give you one of the prizes. It is something that will vibrates and can keep you girls very happy. *twitching his eyebrow and showing that cheeky expression* You can use it during the day and night.

*The audience were all laughing like mad*

It's an electric toothbrush. *the laughter increased* Hey come on la, what are you all thinking about. You all so dirty-minded, aiyoooo!

Alfred was so generous. He was tipping two of the servers. Although I saw that it was a 50 bucks which Vanessa saw too, Garrie said that it was 5.

Initially I was wondering what is that bottle of NEW WATER doing there. It was sponsored by PUB.

There were 48 lucky draw prizes. Nobody at our table won anything in the lucky draw. So disappointing. The first prize was a Anonimo Wayfarer GMT watch that is worth $6,510.

The function ended around 11:15 pm. We then went back to Redhill to fetch our Pepper. Was knocking on the door when we reached and the first thing we heard was Pepper's high pitch bark. She rushed out of the bedroom and was jumping and barking happily when she saw us. My mum-in-law said that whenever Pepper heard the sound of the lift door opening, she would rushed out of the bedroom to check whether it was us.

So sweet right, that silly Pepper. *smoooch*

That's all, folks! ^_^
