Doctors have been pointing the fingers at pets whenever there is no other excuses. The truth is that pets in the house are good for kids. Animals and kids are a natural mix.
A new study shows that children who grow up with pets in the home have a reduced risk of developing common allergies. Most people give up pets when they have children, but the study shows animals have a positive health impact.
"Research in recent years has suggested that children raised with pets are less likely to become asthmatic, more likely to be kind to other children and more likely to have a healthy sense of self-esteem once they reach their teens. New research has revealed many more benefits, claiming that interaction with pets can positively influence children's physical and emotional development, even their scholastic achievement."
