*[[That's the latest number for today and it's sad to see that it is still increasing. Tsunami has cruelly claimed lives of many. Among 1/3 of them in Indonesia were children. Seeing the pictures of bereaved mothers grieving over their children is so heart-aching.
The once beautiful sunny beaches had just turned into hell full of dead bodies and animals.
Our team lead called me several times on Sunday to make sure that I was fine. I was bewildered and came to know on Monday that it was our director who was pretty worried for all of us and needed to make sure that everyone in the department was fine and contactable.
Am so glad that everyone is safe.
I remembered once my director told us that Singapore is so fortunate enough not to face such natural disasters.
With his words in the back of my mind, I started to shudder now.
Because it's so close to home.
