*[[ The Animals Have No Voice, They Have No Choice ]]*

Received the below email from Ricky (ASD). However I had already saw this article yesterday when I was in the minimart. The picture of the dead dog laying there was devasting. I am sure that that there were worst which they couldn't published.


Punishment ?


"NEA licenses pest-control companies for their normal activities such as fumigation, white ant and rat control. They do not license the activity of catching dogs and cats. NEA has indicated that they would thus not be able to revoke the license if they violate the guidelines."


They got off with a mere fine of $1000.


That's how Singapore deals with animal cruelty. How absurd.

This article came out in the New Paper yesterday and we are all very
angry and saddened about it

Please spread this around to all your friends and families so that in
the future we will be more active in looking out for such barbaric
behaviour and report it immediately

If you like, write in to the Straits Times Forum or the Today Forum to
voice your concerns and let these people/ companies know that there are
people concerned for the animals and watching out for them

Our furry friends need us to help speak up for them and help them, for
many a time we receive calls about such things but are helpless to do
anything because people will not testify or be witnesses in order that
such cold blooded killers be punished

Keep a lookout for suspicious things like meat on the floor for in all
likelihood they are laid out for the strays and laced with rat poison,
and also keep a lookout for suspicious vans and people. Keep a camera
handy and jot down the description of the van and the license number

Remember, the Animals Have No Voice, They Have No Choice ...
